Oh boy, I just bought somethin' kinda big.

I just bought something for the baby.

Is it a crib?

No.

Is it a pack and play?

Uh....nope.

Is it 3 tons of diapers?

Negative, ghostrider.

All of the above are quite practical and must be bought eventually. However, they are NOT what I just bought.

After much cost-comparison, shopping around, review reading, and research...what did I buy?

Happy mom, happy baby.

A freakin stroke of genius if you ask me :-) What Jodi said! You need me to come ride in it so you can test it out?

Whenever asks me what the best thing I ever bought when I had a kid, my answer is always the same: my jogging stroller. That is the best investment you will ever make. I promise you will not be disappointed with your BOB!

That is absolutely genius and the first thing I plan on buying when I am preggers.

BTW, thanks for commenting! I've been a big fan for a while now.

As for IMKY 2009, I am definitely open. Was thinking about doing Wisconsin, but I could be swayed :-).

Nice purchase!! That kid of yours will be riding in style and, well... hopefully those wheels can handle all the mileage I know you'll put on them.

Yeah, right. You know you bought it because of the M-Dot.

Ooh!!! I love it! I want it! That's funny, I was recently offered 2 jogging stollers by people who no longer have a use for them. Heck yeah, I want 'em! No M-dot, but it's hard to pass up free stuff. I have a feeling this kid is going to have a plethora of m-dot onesies to wear in the stroller anyway!

I'm really excited to find another Iron-Mommy-to-be, too! I love how we're going through pretty much the same things! So fun! :)

SUH-WEET! And with the m-dot too!

Actually seen on Memorial Park running trail: bedraggled mom running on her last legs with jog-stroller, getting progressively slower and more tired. In stroller, 2 year old daughter with BIG smile periodically thowing hands over head and shouting, "FASTER! MOMMY! GO FAST! WEEEEE!"

I laughed SO hard.

i used mine with both my kids until the tires literally popped on us; they had NO tread left on them. Of course, my 2nd son was about 4 at the time, with his legs hanging out the side, but it was key to keeping me running when they were little and Hub traveled.

Great choice!

Very cool. I just retired ours about two years ago. They are very fun for you and the bambino. Also great for Rollerblading.

Another "must have" is a bike trailer when the baby is a bit older. Kids love riding in 'em. Best bet is to find one used on Craig's List or the like. Otherwise, they're a wee bit pricey new.

Well of course that would have to be one of your first purchases. D'uh! It's gorgeous. You'll get great use out of it!

I totally have dibs on buying it used off you one day!! =) I've looked into buying one for Pips MANY a time. Sad, but true. Test it out on Mugsy and let me know if he likes it!!

Married with no kids and single people have "bike envy"... us parents we get "stroller envy."

Nice choice... our goal is to wear out the tires on ours...so far we're on our way.

Happy trails!
