My heart goes out to the wife, family, and friends of Ryan Shay. This is a sad day for distance running...wow.
Thoughts and prayers to those that knew and loved him. Very sad stuff.

Bittersweet day for running...and runners everywhere.
Unfortunately people die all the time it is just a shame his time was up on the race. Still at least he accomplished a lot in his brief time on this planet.

He was a great guy that I was fortunate enough to know. The bright spot are the memories and knowing that he passed away doing something that he loved.
